Workforce Management Specialist

Role Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Workforce Management Specialist. In this role, you will oversee scheduling, attendance, and staffing needs across our Operations Department. Your responsibilities will include coordinating with HR and Team Managers, ensuring optimal staffing levels, and maintaining accurate scheduling records.
Responsibilities:
  • Investigate staffing needs: and staff accordingly (opened/closed games tables) and assist in new employee onboarding.
  • Schedule Coordination: Investigate staffing needs on a daily basis and staff the studios accordingly (opened/closed tables). Organize, coordinate, and supervise working schedules and rotations at gaming tables, ensuring smooth operational flow and attendance.
  • HR Collaboration: Work closely with the HR department and Team Managers to handle time-off requests, approve schedules, and ensure all positions are filled to meet staffing requirements.
  • Reporting and Administration: Create daily staffing reports, verify work hours, time-off requests and repair schedule inconsistencies, and manage various administrative tasks as directed by Supervisors or Management.
  • Staffing Plans: Design, develop and maintain effective staffing plans to ensure adequate coverage for all business units.
  • Attendance Tracking: Monitor and track attendance, ensuring adherence to schedules and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Shift Preparation: Prepare and manage studio rotation files for incoming shifts to ensure seamless transitions.
Requirements:
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional ability to manage and coordinate schedules, rotations, and staffing needs efficiently.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with workforce management software.
  • Experience and Independence: Minimum of 6 months in a similar role, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Language Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.
  • Shift Flexibility: Willingness to work within on 24/7 shift patterns
  • Knowledge of Labor Laws and Compliance: Understanding of local labor laws and regulations relevant to staffing and scheduling.

  • Soft skills: analytical think and applying critical thinking in data analyzing.
  • Extensive Experience with Workforce Analytics Tools: Familiarity with advanced workforce analytics and forecasting tools.
