Responsibilities:
– Manage network infrastructure, such as routers, firewalls, and switches.
– Set up High Availability VPNs to ensure reliable connectivity.
– Work with the CCTV infrastructure team to improve network performance and uptime.
– Produce detailed documentation and network diagrams.
– Carry out daily monitoring chores with technologies such as Grafana, PRTG, and Cisco Prime.
– Troubleshoot network problems and provide prompt resolution.
– Update network devices to solve coding vulnerabilities.
– Keep the local area network (LAN) running smoothly by monitoring, maintaining, and managing network infrastructure devices.
Requiernments:
– 5-7 years of network engineering experience is required.
– Expertise in TCP/IP networking.
– Understanding of switching technologies (Ethernet, VLANs, and Spanning Tree).
– Knowledge of VPN, MPLS, and QoS technologies.
– The ability to analyze sniffer traces with tools such as Wireshark.
– Understanding of application layer protocols like SNMP, HTTP, SMTP, DNS, and DHCP.
– Familiarity with Syslog protocol.
– Knowledge of security technologies such as IPSec, UTM, and DDoS.
– Understanding of Unix/Linux operating systems.
– Experience with virtualization platforms such as ESXi and Proxmox.
– Knowledge of routing protocols such as EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP, as well as related technologies.
– Understanding of HA techniques such as VRRP, HSRP, VSS, VPC, Multichassis Etherchannel, and Fabric Extenders.
– A bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent is required.
– Cisco certifications or equivalent training.
